Commands
Admin console commands, the placement tools, and the Config.Debug tuning tools.
There is no player-facing chat command. Players open the laptop through the ox_inventory item and ox_target. The commands below are for server operators, for admins placing and tuning displays on a live server, and for live tuning during development.
Admin commands
Both admin commands are registered as restricted commands. An in-game caller
therefore also needs FiveM's own ACE for the command (for example
command.nx_computer_factory_reset), in addition to the check listed. An
unauthorised caller gets no reply.
/nx_computer_factory_reset <computer_id>nx_computer.admin ACE or server consoleRevoke every session for one laptop and delete its device row. The scope is a single device, identified by its computer id. The owning accounts and their data are preserved. Anyone signed in on that device is dropped to the lock screen. In-game callers pass the same admin check as the Admin app: the nx_computer.admin ACE, or the broad command ACE when Config.AllowCommandAceAdmin is true.
Arguments
computer_idstring— The id of the laptop device to reset.
/nx_computer_reap_nownx_computer.admin ACE or server consoleForce an immediate cleanup sweep that prunes stale rows and prints how many were removed. This runs the same maintenance pass the reaper performs on its schedule. In-game callers need the nx_computer.admin ACE. Config.AllowCommandAceAdmin does not apply to this command.
/nxmarket [subcommand] [symbol]server console onlyMarket engine diagnostics. With no argument it prints engine status: whether the market is enabled, asset count, queue depth, clock offset, time since the last tick, the current regime, and a per-asset line with price, 24 hour change, and valuation. flush writes any queued data out immediately. rebuild discards one asset's stored history and regenerates it. Registered only while Config.Exchange.Market.Enabled is true and the asset list loaded, and it ignores in-game callers.
Arguments
subcommand?string— status (default), flush, or rebuild.symbol?string— Required by rebuild. The asset symbol to rebuild.
nxmarket
nxmarket flush
nxmarket rebuild NXCDevelopment seeding
These are registered only when Config.Debug is true, and they refuse any
caller other than the server console. Leave Config.Debug off on a live
server: with the gate off the commands do not exist at all.
/nxmdt_seed [agencyKey] [anchor] [keep] [corpus]server console only, Config.DebugFill the MDT with a generated set of records so the terminal can be reviewed without hand-entering data. keep and the corpus name are recognised in any position from the second argument on, so the anchor can be skipped. Only one seed or wipe runs at a time. Prints a summary of what it created and any statement that failed.
Arguments
agencyKey?string— Which agency to seed. Defaults to the first entry in Config.MDT.Agencies.anchor?string— The officer the seeded records centre on.keep?flag— Add to existing rows instead of wiping first.corpus?string— Which language corpus the generated text is drawn from.
nxmdt_seed
nxmdt_seed lspd
nxmdt_seed lspd keep/nxmdt_seed_wipeserver console only, Config.DebugRemove the rows nxmdt_seed created. It matches on the seeder's own markers, so real records entered alongside them are left in place. The reference counters are deliberately kept so the first real record cannot collide with a seeded reference.
Placement tools
/nxc_place and /nxc_cable work on a live server. They are allowed when
either of these holds:
Config.Debugistrue. The client answers locally, with no server check.Config.PlacerAdminAccessis notfalseand the server confirms the player is an admin. Admin means thenx_computer.adminACE (or the broadcommandACE whenConfig.AllowCommandAceAdministrue), an ESX group listed inConfig.PlacerAdminGroups(defaultadminandsuperadmin), or the QBCore or Qboxadminorgodpermission.
The server check fails closed: any error or timeout means not allowed. The
client caches the answer for 30 seconds. A refused player sees
"You need Config.Debug or admin rights to use" followed by the command name.
Set Config.PlacerAdminAccess = false to limit both tools to Config.Debug.
Other resources can ask the same question through the CanUsePlacer server
export.
| Command | Purpose |
|---|---|
/nxc_place [target] | Live placement and tuning tool for world coordinates. laptop (the default), monitor, projector (or proj), or pick (or aim) to aim at a placed object and tune that one. Any other target prints the usage. |
/nxc_place_close | Close the placer, or cancel pick mode. |
/nxc_cable | Monitor-cable decoration placement tool. |
/nxc_cable_close | Close the cable placer. |
Development tuning tools
These client commands exist for live tuning of prop offsets, camera settings,
and the operator pose, and for scripted testing. They are gated behind
Config.Debug, which defaults to false. Leave it disabled on a live server.
With the gate off, the tuners refuse with a message, and /nxcc,
/nxc_freelook, /nxcnc, /nxc_open, and /nxc_focus do nothing. The
polaroid tuner uses its own gate, Config.Camera.Debug.
| Command | Purpose |
|---|---|
/nxc_cam [copy] | Live-tune the held camera prop: model, attach bone, and offsets. Run it while in photo mode, since there is no prop to tune otherwise. Pass copy to print a paste-ready Config.Camera snippet to the F8 console, or close to close it. |
/nxc_cam_close | Close the camera tuner. |
/nxc_pol [copy] | Live-tune how a photo sits on the polaroid prop. Works with or without a real polaroid in hand: with none it spawns a calibration pattern. Pass copy to print a paste-ready Config.Camera.Polaroid snippet, or close to close it. Gated by Config.Camera.Debug. |
/nxc_pol_close | Close the polaroid tuner. |
/nxc_anim [band] | Live-tune the operator typing posture. Pass a band id to open on that band, copy to print a paste-ready config.lua snippet, or close to close it. Suspend the laptop first: the tuner closes itself while a laptop has focus. |
/nxc_anim_close | Close the posture tuner. |
/nxcc | Toggle third-person freelook while using a laptop. |
/nxc_freelook | Alias of /nxcc. |
/nxcnc <metres> | Live-tune the laptop and monitor camera near-clip, for example /nxcnc 0.35. Raise it to clip the operator's hands out of the lens. Lower it if the screen starts to disappear. |
/nxc_open | Open the nearest placed laptop without using the ox_target eye. It runs the same open path the target uses. |
/nxc_focus | Resume focus on the suspended laptop through the same path the ox_target option on the open laptop uses. Prints a console line when no laptop is suspended. |
/nxc_meet_ghost | Toggle a test participant in the meeting you are in, so the Meetings app can be tested from one client. The ghost joins as a second copy of your own account, with no voice. Run it again to remove it. Requires an active meeting; the server also refuses it unless Config.Debug is true. |
