1.2.0 (2026-10-02)

This version adds a news desk for the city, bringing the laptop to 25 apps, and mail addresses on your server's own domain.

Added

  • Newsroom app (Config.Newsroom). Reporters write and publish stories with pictures in categories. Editors can edit any story and publish Breaking news, which notifies every online player's laptop. The app opens only for the jobs you list.
  • Mail addresses on your domain (Config.Mail). Every account's address is <username>@<domain>, with the domain taken from the nx_mail_domain convar or your server name. Older domains keep delivering, and a renamed account keeps receiving mail at its old name.
  • MDT phone tools (Config.MDT.Phone). Seized-phone extraction, cell tower dumps and device traces when nx_phone is running.
  • Exports: GetMailDomain, MailAddressFor, ResolveMailAddress, CreateAccountForCharacter (allow-listed through Config.AccountExportResources), the Newsroom exports (allow-listed through Config.Newsroom.ExportResources) and NewsEdition.
  • Event: nx_computer:server:newsEvent, a server-local event fired whenever a Newsroom story changes.

Removed

  • Config.Darknet.DeliveryCheckInterval. It had no effect.
  • The per-job webhook field in Config.JobsHub.Jobs, which was ignored. Set application webhooks in Config.JobsHubWebhooks in config_server.lua.
